What is PAYMILL charging me?

We believe in fair and transparent pricing, therefore we don’t charge monthly or setup costs.

Do I have to pay for security?

Highest security standards are essential when doing business online. Therefore we offer a comprehensive set of risk and fraud prevention measures included in our standard pricing.

Why can’t I offer some payment methods?

Availability of payment methods is always subject to acceptance by financial institutions, even after going live. Please get in touch with our support team if you have any questions.

How often are my funds settled?

When you’ve met all our requirements and the requirements from our partnering banks your funds will be paid out on a weekly basis.

Which payment methods are available?

You will be able to activate VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, PayPal, and SEPA (for merchants with a German bank account) from the get-go. Once you complete our activation process you will be able to request additional payment methods, including Diners Club, Discover, American Express (3.95% + 0.28€), and JCB (from 2.95% + 0.28€).

Are there any other additional service fees?

PAYMILL doesn't charge any additional service fees. However in certain situations, additional acquiring bank handling fees or card scheme fees may apply, (e.g. chargeback fees). Additionally a rolling reserve or a currency exchange fee may be applied depending on your business model. In order to determine if these fees apply to your business we would need to learn more about your company during the activation process.
