A challenging year lies behind us, a year filled with exciting moments in which we grew together with you. We would like to take the year-end opportunity to thank you for your loyalty. You stayed by our side and thus encouraged to remain strong and delivering what we do best: payments made easy. We will not forget this and we will keep providing you with top of the range service, technology as well as new features in the coming year. To say thank you, we would like to share our 2016 milestones with you.
Exciting start of the year
The first months of 2016 started for us with a nail-biter: PAYMILL was to be sold – we already knew that much and the first negotiations with interested investors kept the management busy. In the meantime, we were able to strengthen our security measures by revaluating the MOTO functionalities and thus making the community safer. In an exclusive workshop our key account customers have been given deep insights into the subject of risk & compliance. In addition to the successful migration of the Acceptance customers to Wirecard, more than 16,000 customer requests were processed and completed to your satisfaction.
In April we successfully implemented the changes on the Credorax platform and began the strategic development support for our key account customers. Meanwhile we got closer as a team. Our management decided to initiate a strategic insolvency. The team mastered hard times and unfortunately we had to say goodbye to some dear colleagues. However, this was an important step for the future of PAYMILL, because it led to the first negotiations with our today´s sister company Klik & Pay.

Just in time for the half-year change, the positive news was spread: PAYMILL becomes part of the CYBERservices Group. We now enrol onto a new exciting journey that it is just at its very beginning. Together with my team, lots of internal restructuring took place to get back up-to-speed and be “back in the game”. Due to the merger and the CSSF certification of Klik & Pay, we have been able to significantly expand our offer for our customers. FindPenguins was one of the first new large post merger customer, directly coming from “Höhle der Löwen”. On top of new activities, we could count of 90% of you continuing to process with us. At last, we were able to resume and continue to develop the good relations with our partners.
Full speed ahead
The direction was set and we could start with fresh energy and new motivation. To our great pleasure we were able to re-welcome four former colleagues and strengthened the team with two new additions. With full support we picked up business and communication again. After some time everyone’s hard work and commitment paid off: a brand new coffee machine came in to reward us all (every little helps). This source of energy is very much needed, because we are excited to surprise you with more new features in 2017. We are already working on innovative functionalities, more news to follow soon.
