Following the successful takeover by the CYBERservices Group in July 2016, Yannick Decaumont had entered the management of the former Rocket Internet start-up with the mission to integrate PAYMILL into the group. One year later, after leading PAYMILL successfully, he returned to Switzerland to take on a new challenge.
PAYMILL was founded in 2012 as a Rocket Internet Startup and is one of the leading payment service providers in Europe, with a strong focus on the German speaking regions. The intuitive and developer-friendly interface, the straight-forward registration of the merchant account, the highest security standards according to PCI DSS as well as transparent pricing and excellent customer service distinguish PAYMILL from other e-payment service providers.
In July 2016, PAYMILL has been merged into the CYBERservices SA Group. The established Fintech Group, with offices in Switzerland and Luxembourg, has 17 years banking experience and also has its own banking license. Yannick Decaumont, who previously worked within the CYBERservices SA group for several years, was appointed as the new Managing Director of PAYMILL.
During the past 12 months, it was Yannick Decaumont‘s mission to manage the strategic, organisational, and infrastructural integration of the start-up into the group. In addition, PAYMILL was re-structured and targeted more closely to the German-speaking market.
After completing the integration of PAYMILL into the CYBERservices SA group successfully, Yannick Decaumont has now returned to Switzerland to take on a new challenge. “We are very pleased with the achieved results of Yannick Decaumont´s mission” said Daniel Georges, founder and CEO of the CYBERservices SA Group, “so we would like to thank him very much for his more than dedicated work.”
The payment service provider will now be managed, in the interim, by Marie-Hélène Georges, who is the group co-founder and also managing director of the sistercompany Klik & Pay in Luxembourg, regulated by CSSF for the European activity. PAYMILL is fortunate to be able to leverage her enormous experience and expertise in the payment industry while looking for a new managing director in the meantime. Daniel Georges, CEO of CYBERservices SA group, remains CEO of PAYMILL.
Both companies benefit from the new partnership. PAYMILL is now in the position to expand the range of payment methods. After launching “SOFORT Überweisung” in June, PAYMILL will offer Alipay to its customers in just a few weeks.
